Device Overview
Overview
The WMR is a ready-to-use sensor for monitoring water consumption and detecting anomalies. It is interfaced with a inductive sensor that is mounted onto a supported watermeter.
The product is housed in a UV stable, IP66 protected enclosure, making it capable of operating in any type of environment.
The product transmits usage data periodically, with or without history and is capable of performing a data retransmission in case of network outages.
Thanks to it’s internal flow calculation it is capable of enabling fraud and leak detection with the option of transmitting an alarm when tresholds are exceeded.
The product is configured locally using a smartphone application over BLE, or remotely by sending downlink commands to the product.
The iQ WMR is powered by 2x replaceable internal batteries or by supplying 5-24VDC.
iQ Compatibility
The device is compatible with the Yobiiq iQ platform, but is also compatible with most well known data integration platforms and network servers.
The Yobiiq iQ platform is a device management service that allows you to set up your own global IoT solution.
With the iQ platform you are able to:
Monitor the health of your equipment park: battery life, reception/non-reception and the quality of the radio link.
Control the use of your equipment park: subscription and radio regulations.
Act on your equipment park: simulate service life and change configuration remotely.
Features
Universal inductive capacitive counter: a configurable inductive capacitive counter enables usage detection by counting the rotations of a mechanical watermeter.
Temperature sensor: the device has a built-in temperature and humidity sensor.
Data Redundancy: utilizing onboard data logging and retransmission of data.
Automated synchronization of the internal clock
Reliable data collection: All data logs receive a timestamp.
Data Retransmission: Retransmit historical data in case of a network outage.
Customizable data transmission modes: change the transmission frequency and logging frequency.
Fraud and leak detection
LoRaWAN Network test at start-up
Automated calibration of capacitive sensor: the capacitive sensor automatically recalibrates.
Low battery warning: when the product detects a low battery level, the product alerts locally by light and sound signal and remotely through a LoRaWAN message uplink.
