The following safety precautions must be observed during all phases of the operation, usage, service or repair of any Yobiiq product. Users of the product are advised to convey the following safety information to users and operating personnel and to incorporate these guidelines into all manuals supplied with the product.
Failure to comply with these precautions violates safety standards of design, manufacture and intended use of the product. Yobiiq B.V. assumes no liability for customer’s failure to comply with these precautions.
All instructions must be carefully read before a Yobiiq product is installed and used. They contain important information about how the product is used properly.
The installation of a Yobiiq product should not be started before the technical specifications are fully understood.
The work must be performed in the order listed in this manual, and only by qualified personnel. The work must also be done in accordance with national electrical specifications and applicable local regulations.
In order to avoid the product being damaged by static electricity, an ESD wristband should be worn when handling the product.
The labeling of the product must not be changed, removed or made unrecognizable.
The safety provided by this product is guaranteed only for its intended use. The installation and maintenance of any kind, including the replacement of the product's battery, can only be carried out by qualified personnel.

For your own safety, you must ensure that the product is switched off before carrying out any work on it. Only an authorised person should open the product, if required according to the User Manual as there is a risk of electric shock.
For products that can be powered by an external power supply.
For your safety, the power supply to the product must be SELV (safety extra-low voltage) and must be power limited.
The product must be equipped with an isolating device to cut off the power supply. This should be close to the equipment.
Any electrical connection to the product must be fitted with an overload and short-circuit protection device.
Before using the product, check that the power supply voltage shown in the user manual corresponds to your supply. If it doesn’t, please consult your supplier.
Place the device against a flat, firm and stable surface.
The device must be installed in a location that is sufficiently ventilated so that there is no risk of internal heating and it must not be covered with objects such as newspapers, cloths, curtains, etc.

For further information concerning your nearest recycling centre, please contact your nearest local authority/town hall offices, your household waste collection company or the distributor where you bought the product.
